Everything is ready for the new 2024 olive oil harvest: mills are busy and there’s an air full of hope and expectations in the fields. This year’s forecasts indicate an increase in production ranging from 35% to 40% compared to last year, and an overall estimate of 140-150 thousand quintals, of which 20-25 thousand will be branded Toscano Igp olive oil. Thanks to great weather conditions and healthy, high-quality olives, this upcoming season is expected to highlight once again the excellence of this iconic regional product.
According to the Consorzio di Tutela dell’Olio Toscano IGP, mills along the coast are already at work, while harvesting in the hills and inland areas is set to begin in the next few weeks. The combination of experience and artisanal care promises very high-quality extra virgin olive oil, and we at Tenuta Maria Vinci are no exception.
We are thrilled about this new harvest and we look forward to replicating - and even surpass - the excellent results achieved last year.
