The family
Maria Vinci was born out of the determination of Alessia and Patrizio, for whom wine is not merely a product for the table, but an expression of culture, beauty, and conscious choice.
This is what led them to spend many years exploring production realities across the world, from Europe to South America, experiencing different approaches and imagining what they wanted to create. Capalbio was love at first sight; in that landscape, also thanks to a majestic oak tree that is now the symbol of the Winery, they recognized the place to give shape to their family project.
The name is a tribute to Patrizio’s mother, who grew up in Sicily with a passion for Taormina and a vision that extended far beyond the island. A legacy speaking of roots, dynamism, and courage.
Today, Maria Vinci is a family project in the fullest sense of the term: Alessia is the face and voice of the estate, narrator of its identity and guardian of its vision; Patrizio is the solid presence backing its strategic direction.
Working alongside them is their nephew, Matteo Turibio, who manages commercial relations across the national market with energy and enthusiasm.
